Home away from home

Miriam picked us up from the Armidale Airport, a very small one. It's similar to the UP airport in that it's a regional one but Armidale is much smaller, very much like ours was in the 70's and 80's.

Driving to Paul and Miriam's house was an adventure. Remember, they drive on the left hand side of the road. It will take while fr me to get used to seeing cars come at us on the right. In fact, they even walk on the left hand side of life. When we were in theSydney airport, their escalators were on the left.

Since most of our time over here will be visiting different areas and interviewing or listening to various groups, we better get ready to drive on the "wrong" side!

As I'm writing this post, I'm sitting out on our balcony. Here's our view from Paul and Miriam's house. They overlook Armidale. You can see for miles and miles or kilometers as they say. They also have many colorful birds flying around making beautiful music with their calls.
